Mount Elbert Summit Attempt...

Mount Elbert is the tallest mountain in the Rocky Mountains at 14,440ft

and 2nd in the Continental Unietd States...

with a full pack, I climbed; but returned down.

I hit my turn around time, and with weather in the distance,

made some Hot Chocolate. The Vintage Optimus 88 fired right up and

burned like a jet engine, even at high altitude.

I had made it past the final false peak, nearing the actual summit;

then made my way down the beautiful "Gentle Giant"...
